Unit 8

The subtle mind and visualization meditation practices I chose and for good reason. The loving-kindness exercise had me visualize one specific thing or object and focus merely on that. My mind enjoys the subtle visualization where I concentrate on my breathing and clearing my mind of all the trivial items and help guide me making better decisions through clarity. The mental visualization allows me to focus on events that made me happy or events that could happen where I can visulize something exciting. When I visualize something positive it keeps my spirits up and rubs on to others around me creating a positive karma that fills the room. Visualization techniques allow me to conentrate on what makes me happy and is great for you mentally as well the whole person, mind, body and spirit.

  1. I also enjoyed the visualiztion meditation practices! Prior to this class I had not really taken the time for meditation and have found it very helpful. However, I do still find it difficult to fit it into my daily life.

I'm so glad the practices we have learned this semester have been helpful to you. :) Do you plan to keep practicing them once we are done with this class?
